Potassium Fertilizer Delivery: Keeping the World's Vision
Potassium Fertilizer to Productivity in China? It sounds like a cold joke. Since the 1970s, imported potassium fertilizer has always occupied a major position in the Chinese market due to resource and production technology constraints. Over the past 40 years, China has imported more than 130 million tons of potassium chloride (in kind). In 2015, China's import of potassium chloride reached 9.429 million tons due to the fall of international potassium fertilizer prices, which became the new annual record of China's import of potassium fertilizer. It is an unacceptable pseudo-proposition that "asking for others" and "rejecting others from the door".
But in the face of more than 6 million tons of social stock, the false proposition is also possible to become "true". The high stock means that domestic supply will reach more than 15 million tons in 2016. From 2006 to 2015, domestic demand for potassium fertilizer remained at about 12 million tons, the growth trend was slow, and the high stock of potassium fertilizer promoted the oversupply of potassium fertilizer market in China. Practitioners can only express the tragedy in a comedian way: "My God!"
By 2015, the self-sufficiency rate of potash fertilizer in China has increased from less than 10% before 2000 to more than 60%, and the results are not easy to obtain. However, the impact of imported potash fertilizer has pushed China's potash fertilizer industry to the edge of the cliff.
The world's excess potassium fertilizer should be distinguished by international oligarchs, while China's excess potassium fertilizer should be attributed to the import mechanism and strategy. China's potassium fertilizer "potassium deficiency" hat has not been removed, wolves ring feed, only self-reliance. Promoting the withdrawal of processing capacity with high pollution and energy consumption, adjusting the structure of potash fertilizer reserve, innovating production technology, improving quality and reducing cost will be the focus of supply-side reform of China's potash fertilizer industry at this stage. Under the overall development pattern of domestic, overseas and import, China's potash fertilizer industry must make full use of both domestic and foreign markets and two kinds of resources, comply with market rules, and take the road of sustainable development in a healthy and orderly way.
